Like her sister ships, the Azamara Pursuit is a mid-sized beauty with a deck plan well-suited to the needs of modern voyagers. Its intimate size allows itineraries to unique, smaller ports in regions around the world that larger ships are unable to reach.
On an Azamara ship, you'll sail to the city center of Bordeaux, the heart of Seville, and within a short walk to Hong Kongs buzzing nightlife and Shanghais famous Bund. You'll sail to the doorstep of Bangkok, while other large cruise lines dock a few hours away.
With a capacity of 690 guests, you'll never feel crowded in the comfortable social spaces of her bars, restaurants, and lounges. Youll love the genial club-like atmosphere and the way the attentive staff and crew get to know you. And youll feel the same friendliness with your fellow voyagers.
Staterooms feature modern amenities, furnishings, and European linens. And one of the greatest features of this ship is the large number of staterooms with verandas. There's nothing better than opening your door to the fresh sea air and views.
Azamara's friendly ships are an altogether wonderful place to call your home away from home!

Exclusive Shore Event: Jerusalem (Ashdod) | Eternal Jerusalem with Lunch at the Israel Museum
Your unforgettable day offers a wonderful opportunity to experience some of mankind's most impressive sights: Jerusalem - one of the world's oldest continuously-inhabited cities and the spiritual center for the 3 major monotheistic religions.
Boarding our vehicle at Ashdod pier, we will begin with a scenic drive into the hauntingly stark Judean Hills, travelling along the same route used for centuries to reach Jerusalem.
Jerusalem, the capital of Israel, is famous for its timeless beauty and was once considered the center of the world. As we navigate our way through this amazing city, we will pass some of Israel's most notable landmarks, such as the Knesset (Israel's parliament), the State Supreme Court, the Hebrew University (home to many Nobel Prize winners) and the world-famous Israel Museum the largest cultural institution in the State of Israel which is ranked among the world's leading art and archaeology museums.
We then drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Old Jerusalem. View the Temple Mount with El-Aqsa and the gold-topped Dome of the Rock Mosques, considered to be the third holiest site in Islam. Traveling around the Old City, we will pass by the picturesque Garden of Gethsemane the home of the impressive Church of All Nations.
Making our way to the Old City, our walking tour begins as we enter through the Dung Gate to the Western Wall the holiest site in the Jewish world, believed to have been closest to where the Holy Ark once stood. Continue through the Muslim and Christian quarters, along part of the Via Dolorosa believed by many to be the route Jesus followed as he carried his cross to Calvary. One of Jerusalem's incredible sites is next to visit, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher - the holiest Christian shrine is situated on the Hill of Golgotha (skull hill), which used to be an execution location outside the city walls. According to Christian gospels, and compatible to archeological discoveries, this is the site of Jesus' crucifixion, burial and resurrection. Our route takes us past the colorful bazaar and the Jewish Quarter with its Cardo Jerusalem's main thoroughfare during the Roman and Byzantine eras. Our walking tour will conclude at the Zion Gate.
We will then drive through New Jerusalem, past the Jerusalem Theater and the President's residence to the Israel Museum where we will enjoy a lunch of local specialties.
After lunch, we will visit the Model of Jerusalem from Second Temple Period and the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed.
This wide-ranging Jerusalem tour concludes with a drive back to the port in Ashdod.
