Like her sister ships, the Azamara Pursuit is a mid-sized beauty with a deck plan well-suited to the needs of modern voyagers. Its intimate size allows itineraries to unique, smaller ports in regions around the world that larger ships are unable to reach.
On an Azamara ship, you'll sail to the city center of Bordeaux, the heart of Seville, and within a short walk to Hong Kongs buzzing nightlife and Shanghais famous Bund. You'll sail to the doorstep of Bangkok, while other large cruise lines dock a few hours away.
With a capacity of 690 guests, you'll never feel crowded in the comfortable social spaces of her bars, restaurants, and lounges. Youll love the genial club-like atmosphere and the way the attentive staff and crew get to know you. And youll feel the same friendliness with your fellow voyagers.
Staterooms feature modern amenities, furnishings, and European linens. And one of the greatest features of this ship is the large number of staterooms with verandas. There's nothing better than opening your door to the fresh sea air and views.
Azamara's friendly ships are an altogether wonderful place to call your home away from home!

Exclusive Shore Event: Jerusalem (Ashdod) | Holy Sights, Ethnic Quarters and the Bustling Bazaar
Our day of exploring Jerusalem begins en route, as we pass through the rolling Judean Hills from our port of Ashdod to our first stop at the Israel Museum. We'll see the impressive 21,000-square-foot Model of Jerusalem, before driving to the Mount of Olives. From here we have views to the Temple Mount, with Al-Aqsa mosque and the gold-topped Dome of the Rock-one of the city's most iconic landmarks. Our route then takes us past the Garden of Gethsemane and the colorful Church of All Nations.
Our walking tour begins as we enter the Old City through the sixteenth-century Dung Gate to the Western Wall, the holiest site in the Jewish world. We continue through the buzzing Muslim and Christian quarters, along a portion of the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, believed to be the place of the crucifixion, burial, and resurrection.
We'll break for lunch at Bulghourji, in the Armenian Quarter, for a meal of typical Jerusalem-style cold salads and breads, along with Armenian-style kebabs. After, we'll continue walking through the Old City's colorful bazaars to the Cardo, Jerusalem's main thoroughfare during the Roman and Byzantine eras. We'll conclude at Zion Gate and reboard our coach for a drive through New Jerusalem, passing modern structures like the Jerusalem Theater and the President's Residence, before concluding our rich day in the Holy Land.

AzAmazing Evening Event: Jerusalem | Exclusive Orchestra and Klezmer Group Performance
Experience an evening enveloped in the moving traditions and uplifting songs that distinguish the Jewish faith and Israeli culture. Travel to the contemporary Ashdod Concert Hall, a concert venue that some say resembles a soaring whale rising above the sands. Arrive to the sounds of the Klezmer Group, a traditional Jewish band that takes an old folkloric saying to heart the larger the band, the more its host shall prosper. Savor local delicacies and sip Israeli wines and beers as the band provides a spirited soundtrack. Afterwards, it's time for the main event. Sit back and relish in the sounds of a 40-person orchestra, joined by a troupe of vocalists, as they perform modern hits and traditional favorites. Feel the uplifting spirit and indomitable strength that distinguish the Jewish people.
Suggested Attire: Comfortable shoes and casual evening attire.
Activity Level: Leisurely walking over primarily even surfaces. There may be a limited number of steps, a minimal amount of cobblestones or uneven surfaces, and some standing for extended periods of time.
Length: 2.5 hours
